During my time at Framestore, I had the opportunity to contribute to the texture work for Peter Pan & Wendy. My role involved creating highly detailed and realistic textures to seamlessly integrate CG assets with the live-action environment. One of my key tasks was ensuring that scanned props matched their digital counterparts, achieving a perfect blend between scan-based details and hand-crafted textures.
Among the assets I worked on was the Tinker Bell lantern, where I meticulously recreated textures to match the practical prop from the set, maintaining its intricate details and weathered look. Another highlight was a rock asset, for which I had to precisely match the scanned version with CG, ensuring a smooth transition between scan data and painted textures.
Throughout the project, I focused on maintaining photorealistic materials, accurate aging and weathering effects, and seamless texture blending to bring the world of Peter Pan & Wendy to life.
